I'm Rebecca and I just moved to the DC area a few months ago. I thought this might be a interesting way to meet some new people :-)
I think it's pretty hard to truly capture the essence of what makes a person unique in this forum, but I've decided to just wing it and hope for the best. Honestly I think the pictures tell the real story for most people on here!
I love to travel and explore new places. DC has been great in that respect because there is such an amazing diversity of activities so close by. Since I've been here I have spent half a day just wandering around the Pentagon, found some random beaches to play at with my dog, drove and hiked around Shenandoah National Park, and took a couple road trips up to NY/CT and down to the south (South Carolina was my last of the 50 states that I have been to now!)
I have also done a lot of international traveling. Some of my favorite places were Norway, South Africa, the Yukon, and Switzerland. I have a long list of other places that I would love to go to someday!! Next places on my wish list are Australia, the Galapagos, or Curacao.
I try to live a fairly active and adventurous life but I also have those times where all I want to do is go home and chill out in front of the TV (a lot more frequently during the winter...)
I am looking for someone who is going to help keep me motivated to keep life interesting but also be willing to just hang out and relax when it's a lazy day. Life is always better in good company :-)
