Hi There!
About me, well... My career is educating high school students to prepare for the working world. I also volunteer my time fundraising for performing arts scholarships. I am passionate about everything I take on. I see the beauty in most things and althoughy life is full I can stop and appreciate the goodness each day brings. I am the party planner of my family and whether it is a holiday, a sports game on TV or a "family fun day" (campout in the back yard or "Wii are Family Competition") it has to be said...my family & friends MUST love me to put up with some of my ideas! Lol
I usually have music playing while I cooking or do things around the house. I love being outside being active. My favorites are tennis, golf and "easy walks". Ha! Note I did not say I was great at them... But I enjoy them! I live walking distance to many restaurants, coffee/ tea spots & pubs so there is always something to do. Being near any kind of water is being in my happy place. My leap list includes learning the guitar and developing my photography skills. I love to travel and I have a few places in mind for the near future. I have a travel rule- must do 3 things you never done before on each trip. With all that said I am also a homebody at times... With nothing to do but catch up in my DVR shows and maybe play cards/ games for harmless wagers! :-)
My ideal match is a man who can keep up with me. Kinda kidding! He should understand the balance of life and be open to trying new things. I am all about meeting someone half way so it would be nice for that to be his mentality as well! I recently heard a quote that has stuck with me..."Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, & loudly proclaiming...WOW...what a ride!"
