Thank you for taking a minute to read my profile. If you are anything like me, initially, you were a little hesitant to date online. I guess we got over it. :)
I was fortunate to grow up in Kenya. My parents were missionaries for about 30 years.
I called Las Vegas home for 15 years . In 2010 I moved to the east coast.
Now, I'm privileged to run a restaurant on the magical island of Martha's Vineyard during the summer season. The rest of the year I work on different projects and travel. I try to do my part to make the world a better place. One way I do that is through the J-1 Visa program.
During late Jan and early Feb I will be in Serbia. While there, I will be giving several hours of intensely entertaining lectures about the hospitality industry in the U.S. to university students in Belgrade and Novi Sad. I will also be interviewing and hiring several students for summer work on Martha's Vineyard and elsewhere. Every year, I am amazed at the vitality that the J-1 Visa students bring to the restaurant I run. They are the leaders of Europe tomorrow.
