Hey there!
A little about me..I'm witty, kind, loyal, and fun to be around. I love to cook, watch sports, and hang out with my favorite people. I was born and raised in San Jose, but love exploring new places in and around the Bay Area. I'm financially responsible and own my own home.
I am an elementary school teacher. This year I began teaching at a school within our school district that is implementing a new way of delivering instruction to our students (most of whom live below the poverty level). I wouldn't want to bore you with the details, but if you're interested, I'm happy to share. Because of this transfer, I now am working with a group of the most dedicated, professional, and hardest working teachers that I could possibly hope for. The majority of us are new to the school and while the change has been challenging, we have all developed a bond that has moved beyond our teaching day. We have become close friends and spend time outside of school having fun.
Family is important to me. I have two sisters and a brother and we truly enjoy being around each other. We all (plus our parents) live near one another and see each other often. I have four nephews who are a riot and it's so much fun watching them grow up. Family gatherings are a boisterous affair...lots of laughing, loud voices, (you have to make yourself heard!) and the occasional cry from one of the boys who has had a toy taken away by a cousin. It's a lot, but I really wouldn't have it any other way. My mom is from a large Italian family and this is the kind of family environment I grew up in and am used to. However, it is nice to go home to peace and quiet at the end of the night! :)
I'm looking for someone who is established in their career and knows what they want out of life. I need someone who has the ability to crack me up and doesn't take themselves too seriously. I'm looking for someone who is truly interested in being in a committed, monogamous relationship and not looking to play games. I want someone who is equally comfortable catching a game, going out for dinner and drinks with friends, or cuddling and watching a movie at home. I want someone who enjoys to travel, whether it be a day trip around the Bay Area or some larger adventure. I want a partner in all things and someone who will support me through the ups and downs of life.
