I am a graduate of Oklahoma State University- Go Pokes!!!- I love tailgating and going to games when I can. My degree is in history and I would someday like to go to grad school- but I'm happy with what I'm doing now so it may be a while. I love old movies- Marx Bros. films are great- and I have a bit of a thing for Marilyn Monroe ;) she just had that certain je ne sais quoi! I love to be around water and out on a lake; my family has a lake home in Minnesota and since we moved around a lot while I was growing up that cabin always feels like home to me. I love to swim and go boating, but no matter how many summers I try I still can't get up on water skis. I have a crazy mutt named Beau who makes me smile everyday. (h's the pup on my shoulder in the picture) I love dogs and if you would call yourself a "cat person" I just feel bad for you... Politically speaking I'm relatively conservative. However, I also believe that the government should be restricted from influencing matters of personal choice- if you want an explanation of what I mean here let me know. Lol. I would love to be able to travel more, but one only has so many vacation days in a year. Next year my big trip is going to be Stockholm. :) I'm not a shallow person, but taking care of yourself and maintaining your appearance is important to me. Putting some effort into how you look each morning shows people you deal with that you care. It's also a way of expressing yourself - I enjoy that. How do you want the world to see you? I love music and going to concerts, preferably at smaller venues or outdoor festivals. I own I guitar that I don't know how to play... Perhaps I should take lessons? Occasionally I find myself feeling creative and take out the paints, but hyper realism isn't my thing. Portraiture is hard! Haha. Whenever I find myself looking at a great portrait in a museum I get jealous of the talent though! Send me an email if all that doesn't scare you away ;)
