I recently dropped everything on the Hill in DC to move up to CT. It wasn't an easy place to leave behind, but a unique challenge had presented itself. Three campaigns, a few hundred 90 hour weeks and more than enough diner food to cause a heart attack, things are settling down for now. With the craziness of campaign life behind me for a short while (at least until 2014), I'm enjoying the benefits of weekends and weeknights finally. Not to mention, it feels good to eat home cooked meals and sleep in a bed instead of an office. I love my job and worked very hard to get there. Each day can be endlessly different and leave me wondering what kind of people or group I'll meet next. I like to enjoy my new free time by going out to restaurants in Hartford or Middletown, hiking with my friends and dog, drawing and going on unplanned adventures. I come from a big Irish family and grew up north of Philadelphia, so I try to catch Philadelphia's teams whenever I can. Don't worry I'm not your usual rude Philly fan. I find almost everything funny and am one of those people that says pretty much everything on my mind. I'm looking to be with someone who's on the same page in their life. I like girls that can laugh at everything and have a strong sense of humor. I find sarcasm and creativity to be attractive. I'm looking for someone who is equally motivated, has goals and is enthusiastic about their job and future. I think that independence and confidence are important qualities for a girl to possess. I'd love to meet someone new and see where it goes.
