I would describe myself as independent, caring, goal oriented, and fun loving. I absolutely love what I do and although I am passionate about my profession I am able stay focused while maintaining my sarcastic personality. They're instances where being serious is important, but I also know that life is too short to take everything too seriously.
I'm looking for a man who has the same values and beliefs, who enjoys spending time with both family and friends, but can also appreciate the little and big things that life has to offer. I also think someone who can communicate their feelings is important... especially when building and maintaining any relationship.
I would probably describe myself as a traditional woman. I think it's great when I still see men making the first move, opening and holding doors open for women, and helping them with their coats while not expecting something in return. I think it not only shows respect but means your family has taught you great values.
I enjoy almost all types of sports and can actually understand what is happening in many cases. I still have trouble figuring out what a balk is. Did I even spell that right? Whether it's going to a game or watching it at home or at a bar, the competitive nature of sports is truly enjoyable for me to watch. The only time I have issues are when drunk people or the crazies get out of control. It is just a game. With that said, I do have a competitive side.
Let's be honest...life isn't always wonderful but I need someone who is able to handle the "bumps in the road" with a level head and maturity. I want someone who is confident and secure with themselves and can be able to express them self and be affectionate.
I love to laugh and enjoy making other people laugh, although it is usually at my expense. If you can dish it out you better be able to take it! Bottom line, if you can't laugh at yourself we probably wouldn't last very long. :-)
