I moved to Jacksonville from Ohio 9 years ago. (Yes, I am a Buckeye!) I absolutely love the weather and the beach. I am a pretty laid back person who enjoys both going out for the evening or just spending a night in. I spend my free time at the gym, watching football, hopefully outside on a sunny day, or meeting friends for a drink. Live music and going on weekend road trips are also things that I crave. Traveling is another thing that I make time for each year. Its great to have friends scattered around the country and find new places to visit.
I'm a pretty laid back person and not a girly girl. I'm sure part of that is due to the fact that I grew up with one brother who is almost 9 years older than I am. I had to learn some athletic skills very quickly so that I could keep up with him. I really thought I could beat him all these years but the age difference got the best of me. I am also a pretty independent person and look for that quality in someone else. Other qualities that are important to me in someone are confidence, ambition, respect for others, positivity and being close with their family. Good manners and the ability to get along with children are also very attractive qualities. Its the little things that someone does that get my attention.
I tend to surround myself with positive, fun, silly, outgoing people that can bring that side out of me. My friends would most likely describe me as very loyal, a good listener, sarcastic and very trustworthy.
