Whether it's talking about Kobe, Martha, or even non-prison-related things, I have a big thing for pop culture. I'll always try to make it to the Cinerama downtown for the opening of big action movies and will freely admit to possessing both Metallica and Milli Vanilli songs in my collection. I come off as shy with strangers, but with friends, I'm the one to sing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen or New Order's Bizarre Love Triangle at a karaoke bar or suggest a loud board game like Pictionary or Dirty Minds. I'm from LA and enjoy some of the things that are more prevalent in warmer climates, like rollerblading along the beach or riding roller coasters in April when Magic Mountain first opens. Still, the joys of Seattle haven't escaped me. I like kayaking in Lake Union and attempt to sample the many sushi restaurants available in the Seattle area. I think it's cool that my Mom is also a friend who can bitch about her job to me just as I do with her, and while I only see her and my Dad three times a year, we talk on the phone weekly and seem to have made a tradition out of annual family trips to Hong Kong. I'm a web developer by profession but don't think that I fit all the stereotypes - unless the stereotypes include a belief in ghosts, a skepticism about God, and the rare talents of both listening and thinking before I speak. The one I'm looking for is bold enough to craft an erotic and steamy story for me at least as well as I can conjure up a ghostly tale. Goofy enough to sing "I'm Too Sexy" without getting too drunk. Loves kids and pets and respects her elders. Cooks healthier than "The Two Fat Ladies" from the Food Network. Isn't a complete klutz when it comes to sports, but is geeky enough to tell me if she thinks the X-Men comic book sucks. Eats all kinds of food except the stuff from Fear Factor. Learns from her mistakes. Cracks me up with her Freudian slips. Can explain the difference between cosmology and cosmetology. Her interests interest me and vice versa.
