If my friends described me in a word it might be 'eclectic.' I'm working on my PhD and teaching at a college, working toward becoming a tenured professor. But when I put down the books I pick up good backpack and head out for adventure. I'm an outdoors addict, and I love to take people along on my crazy exploits camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, rafting, caving, zip lining, and anything else along the way. I'm travel-obsessed: I've backpacked through Europe and driven on cross-country road trips. Closer to home, I enjoy going to see the Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers, heading out to concerts, or dropping by Heinz Hall for a night at the symphony. Generally I just enjoy experiences-- I'm game to do just about anything. If I want to slow it down, nothing beats a good cup of coffee at a cafe or splitting a great bottle of wine right from the vineyard. Of course, nights in are great too; I can really appreciate just relaxing on a couch for a night.
What am I looking for? A sidekick! I love to do all of these incredible things, but I don't have anyone to join me. Surely there's a funny, intelligent, caring, and honest girl out there somewhere that can keep up with my spontaneity and drive. If that sounds like you, then I'd love to hear from you.
