I'm an NC native, originally from the mountains, but somehow managed to have almost no accent - Rednecks, hicks, and good ole' boys - No thank you! I like a little edge! Education is a big part of my life and my passion. If your friends admire your brains - you rock! I'm 50/50 introvert and extrovert - no kidding - in every personality test. No kids, great parents, no baggage - not even a sibling! Currently, I'm rebuilding my life solo, and pursuing some academic goals, finishing graduate school while teaching full time.... Shockingly, this doesn't fill my time!
I have tons of energy and enjoy smart, witty, funny, kind people who have great big heart and lots of love to give. I need someone who's versatile and can attend an art gallery or go to the dive bar. I'm fun, thoughtful and of course, try new things. I like to travel, but I'm domestic if I have good company. Just when you think you've seen all that I am, I'll surprise you with my chameleon ways.. In love, I'll be forever loyal to someone who tries to meet me half-way in communication and compromise. I like people who say what's on their minds and what they need and who don't hide their feelings.....indirect won't work for me! I like people who are committed to personal growth and are down-to-Earth, but have a higher purpose. I wear my heart on my sleeve and have no fear of rejection. I'm hopeless at most sports, unless there is an adventure involved or a great team spirit. Sorry all you hot, beach-buff guys who like super skinny athletic girls. I prefer reading, movies, cooking, boardcard games, going to the beach or mountains, playing pool or sitting out on the boat...I can throw a mean frisbee. I own a pool cue that I put to good use.
