I love my job but lately it's all I seem to do. It's hard to meet people outide of work and I've never been one to find someone at a bar. I'm not a complete workaholic though, I know how to have fun and escape somewhere every chance I get. I'm independent, have been since I was 18, and looking for my match to be independent too.
I enjoy trying new things. I got my motorcycle license to feel the freedom of riding, I ran a 10-miler last year in Louisville KY, and I'm hoping my next big thing will be skydiving. Although I'm nervous about that last one, so I'm waiting until next year. I also love travelling. There's just so much beauty in the world I'd love to see - so far I've been to Quebec, Peru, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Bahamas. Although, staying in and just relaxing on the couch is what I enjoy most nights. :)
I'm shy and quiet around big groups; it takes a little time for me to get comfortable enough to be myself around new people, but I'm one of the sweetest people you'll meet. My friends say I'm a goofball and have been told I act older than my age. I can't tell jokes but I love to laugh. I'm down to earth, laid back and treasure loyalty above all else. I prefer jeans any day of the week, but enjoy getting dressed up for a night out of town. I'm also an analyzer/observer (that's my quiet side kicking in) and a always a good listener. I don't care for drama, if there's a problem I speak up and am looking for someone to be able to communicate openly with me too. I'm affectionate and love balance in my life. So much so, that if you consider yourself to also be shy and quiet, I don't see us as a good match, 1 out of 2 is enough "quiet" in a relationship.
My goal is to find good company and with good company there can be great possibilities. I'm looking for someone who knows what they want in life and isn't afraid to go after it. I love confidence in a man. I'm into masculine men who have a soft side which he isn't afraid to show. Someone who is happy and kind to others, who enjoys the little things in life but still has the passion to do the unexpected and gets off on the occasional adrenaline rush. I'm not the helpless maiden that needs to be cared for, but I hold on to traditional views of relationships - minus the cooking, I rarely ever cook, but I'm amazing at making food disappear! Haha. I'm not looking to casually date around, I'm looking for a serious relationship. If it won't lead to anything in the future, what's the point? Time is precious and I'm looking to not waste it. Physical attraction is the first thing that might draw two people together, but I'm hoping this site will help show us those deeper connections that are what real relationships are made of.
