Me:
Generally positive, mostly cynical, usually cheerful. I am here for a long time, a good time, some red wine, some moonshine.
I’m more of a dive bar kind of girl than a fancy cocktail joint kind of girl. I can’t tell you the last time I wore heels.. (actually, that’s a lie, I was forced to as a bridesmaid in a wedding a few months ago and hung on to the groomsman for dear life down the aisle).
Not a native New Yorker, somewhat of a gypsy. Where to next? Shall we move to Nashville?
I’m obsessed with the South, Texas, and the UK. I lived in London for a number of years and find my personality better suited to UK living. I don’t know why as I had never been one to think of myself as an anglophile.
I prefer the country-side to the city. (Why am I in New York again?) But am happy for now living in Brooklyn with weekend campinghiking escapes.
I am a massive nerd and have a rather large collection of baseball cards. I spent my childhood wrapped up in books rather than joining dance classes or partaking in competitive sports. However, now I’m an avid runner and football (as in soccer) watcher.
You:
Your idea of a good vacation is taking a road trip in an old station wagon with cheap cigarettes while listening to old country.
You understand sarcasm.
You are dedicated to, or at least have an understanding of, issues of social justice.
You’ve ever referred to yourself as a feminist.
You want to play scrabble with me. Over beers or wine.
