Now a bit about me...
I spent most of my 20's working hard to establish a career, and I feel I'm finally at a place where I can relax a bit and enjoy myself. I'm looking for cool people to hang out with, enjoy life and have adventures. Secretly I'm hoping to find someone special, but I'm not in any rush. At the moment I just want to meet new people and see what happens. :)
I'm 6'2" with blueish-green eyes. I'm smart, funny and good with kids. I like to think I'm pretty good looking too, but I'll let you be the judge of that. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all. I'm very clean cut. No tattoos or piercings. I don't do any drugs besides caffeine and alcohol. I tend to dress well. That doesn't mean I walk around in a 3-piece suit all the time, but I wear clothes that fit me and that look good. Though I may occasionally wear a tie just because I feel like it.
I'm fiercely loyal, and I won't hesitate to walk through fire for my friends. I also tend to be a bit intense at times (if that last sentence wasn't hint enough :P).
I am obsessed with football, so hopefully you like sports. I'm a die hard Patriots fan, but I can tell you something I like about every team in the league. Except the Raiders. Sorry guys.
I live a very active lifestyle. I love working out, it helps to keep me sane. I like pushing myself to see how far I can go. To me, there is nothing better than the feeling of being completely exhausted and sore after a hard workout because I know that even if I didn't do as well as I wanted, I did the best I could. I'd very much like to get into climbing. There's a new climbing gym opening sometime this year, so hopefully I can find a belay-buddy by then. Scuba diving is on my list too. Work schedule permitting, I'm hoping to get certified in the next few months. I'm also a martial artist. I have a first dan black belt in Shorin-ryu karate. It's my passion and I train at least 2-3 nights a week (I used to do 5, but I had to cut back). And yet I can't seem to get into MMA for some reason...
I'm very interested in travel. I haven't had time to do as much of it as I'd like, but I've built up a pretty substantial wanderlust.
My former roommates have told me I'm an awesome cook. I've finally perfected my Spaghetti Bolognese, though I've been working on Thai food the last few years. I make a mean green curry chicken, and I've been told my Phad Thai is excellent, though I'm still tweaking it. I'm also playing with my own rib sauces, and I make fantastic sweet potato fries. I'd very much like to get into molecular gastronomy at some point
So that's me...or a partial textual description of me at any rate. Interested? Awesome. I love meeting people. I like pretty much everyone, and if you earn my friendship, you can pretty much count on me for anything. That said, when it comes to people I want to date and be in a relationship with, I tend to be picky. I've reached a point where I'm pretty happy with who I am as a person, and I'm not going to settle for anyone who is less than fantastic.
So here is what I'm looking for in a "more than friend":
-Smart (Intelligence is sexy. )
-Kind (I have no room in my life for people who are mean, rude or disrespectful)
-Positive outlook on life (negativity is no fun)
-Attractive (It's shallow, but there's got to be attraction right? And that goes both ways)
-Awesome-ness ( I can't describe this, but I know it when I see it).
