I'm well-preserved, smart, funny, self-confident and self-sufficient. I’m low maintenance and no drama. I’m fearless but not reckless. I always see the glass as half-full, but I don’t wear rose-colored glasses. I’m just a Max Meyers playground kid all grown up, who was made to be in jeans and t-shirts, but can still get dressed to the nines. I consider myself a bit of a foodie but not a food snob, so I'm perfectly willing to dive into excellent junk food, like Five Guys or Shank's. I’m huge Philly sports fan, although I watch the Eagles from a safe distance because I’ve been burned by them my entire life. Next to the birth of my kid, being at the clinching game of the 2008 World Series with my sister was the greatest moment of my life. Even though I’m all grown up, a mom, and have a law degree, I’m still into good music and fast cars. What can I say? I had my first motorcycle ride at 12 and haven’t been the same since. I'm looking for a guy as well preserved as I am who has similar tastes, values and interests.
One of my main goals in life is to raise a teenager who isn’t a knucklehead, and I seem to be succeeding at that. Then again, I’m fortunate to be raising someone who has been blessed in both the nature and nurture departments.
I love my job and my boss- how many of us can say that? Working for the government allows me to impact the lives of others in a significant way, rather than be working to generate revenue for some firm. I seem to have struck a good balance, and manage the home/work juggling act fairly well.
I am looking for a mensch whose parents raised him right and then cut the apron strings. Someone who is grown-up and comfortable in his own skin. Someone with a really good sense of humor who is quick enough to get mine. Somebody to help me cook dinner while we watch Daily News Live who shares my hatred for the DH and interleague play.
