I see life as a true comedy filled with a never-ending series of moments of sorrow, awe, and ultimately laughter. I tend of find levity during serious moments by making a sarcastic comment to ground myself and everyone around. Having said that, I will guarantee that you will not find a single photo of me shirtless hiking Runyon Canyon with my boss's dog, running up the Santa Monica Steps like a self-righteous lemming, or pretending to catch a football on the beach with a professionally well lit picturesque sunset in the background. Don't get me wrong, I like exercising, but I am not an "aspiring" actor/model/screenwriter/producer/director with a lot of spare time, and rather my work keeps me on my feet for 14-17 hours a day running around without a moment for a break, but I love every single moment of it. I really find these pictures absurdly hilarious. I honestly thought about taking a picture of myself in a two thumbs up pointing at myself pose using my webcam and photoshop a bunch of stock footage in the background with random captions like "What has 2 thumbs and is at a North Korean military parade? This guy!" But my better judgement obviously persuaded me otherwise. And another thing... If you haven't guessed yet, I can get on some tangent rants from time to time. Anyway, moving on. Let's not do the boring usual thing of being surprised when you find commonalities with someone and say stupid things like "Oh wow, you like to breathe too?" Let's give each other the benefit of the doubt that we're mostly all social creatures who have come to the realization that Los Angeles has become a cesspool of the most under-educated educated people who lack the most common of common senses with the most obnoxiously arrogant attitudes and have opted to give this online thing a chance in the hopes of finding someone compatible with whom to have a meaningful conversation and have a real relationship without any preconceived agendas. As an LA native, I've been known to say that LA is a great place sans the traffic and the people who live here. I really love LA, especially during the one week between Christmas and New Year when everyone goes back home to visit their families. Damn it, another rant!! I'm starting to feel like Peter Griffin when he got his own rant show. "You know what grinds my gears?" OK, seriously moving on. If by chance, I still haven't been successful in offending the remaining 3 ladies on Match, then don't be shy. Who knows, we can have some serious discussions about childhood obesity in our nation or the state of our crumbling infrastructure. Wow, this just got real for a second, so let's lighten the mood again. There once was a man from Nantucket...
