In the last year, I have moved permanently back to Jersey after living in Florida for the last 7 and a half years. I'm just looking to meet people who share similar interests, who want to have fun, and that are willing to start with friendship first. Not looking to jump into anything head first, but willing to take a chance if the cards fall into the right place. I'm a tomboy, silly yet shy, and always smiling. I'm that no make-up hippey/but trendy kinda chick. I love the beach, dogs, and cruising in the drop top on a sunny day.
Huge movie buff, and lost track of how many are now in my collection. I may as well add that one of my favorite movies is High Fidelity(I adore John Cusack) As for music, I love Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, the Beatles, Bruce Springsteen and Jimmy Buffett and pretty much everything else in between. I have a horrible voice, but incessantly sing in the shower.
I like going to outdoor concerts, quaint cafes, hanging with friends, dive bars and of course any sporting event. Just so there is no confusion, I'm a YANKEE FAN and I don't plan on changing that! :-)
As for my ideal mate, well does anyone really know? I usually can tell right off the cuff if there's chemistry, and if there's not, well it just means that we're not meant to be. Usually a guy that can hold my attention during a conversation and make me laugh at the same time, well that's a good start! I wouldn't expect "Mr. Right" to love all animals, but dogs are a must. Physical attraction and chemisty are deal breakers. I have a weakness for guys with a great smile, an innocent face, and laugh lines. And some nice pearly whites to boot!
What do I look for in a guy?? First and most importantly, I'd hope that he'd have good family values since I am very close with my family. Basically, he'd be a man his mother would be proud of. He would be open minded, whimsical, funny, and wouldn't mind getting lost with me on road trips. :-) Basically, I'm looking for someone who can give me those butterflies long after the honeymoon phase is over..... And where you're the first person I want to see when I wake up, and the last person I want to see before going to bed.
If this sounds intriguing, feel free and write.
