I am amused easily, because there's a lot in life to laugh about, and a good giggle (or in your case, a manly laugh) can get you far. I love the fast pace of the city, but I still have the laid-back, small town girl flair that comes from the midwest, without the accent. Although I do like accents-- I do a mean Katharine Hepburn. That sounds dirty.
A little about me... I can be silly and definitely punny, have a fast wit and sense of sarcasm. I'm a little bit of a sci-fi nerd... and I don't just want, I NEED to travel. I'm very busy and independent, but love taking the time to really connect with people. I love witty banter and talking all night, but I can also sit quietly just enjoying a movie or the sound of crickets. So if you have a whole bunch of pet crickets, let me know. I've been told I'm an old soul. I also have what may be considered to be a very dirty mind. I think I was a 14 year old boy in some other life (but don't worry, not THIS one) and sometimes that mind set comes out through some slightly inappropriate "inyourendo." I'm a vegetarian, but appreciate that you probably think bacon is awesome.... I drank a bacon flavored beer once, and it blew my mind.
I'm blessed with some incredible friends and I'm kind and loyal to those peeps, 'cause they deserve it. And I'm kind to strangers 'cause they might deserve it, so why take the risk?
Being outside, in the park or a walk on the Highline is a great date for me. Grabbing a beer or coffee and just chatting is a great date as well, especially when you're just seeing if the chemistry works. I love dancing, I love museums... I am up for trying pretty much anything. One of the best parts about dating is trying new things-- finding out what is someone else's cup of tea. And when we're done with the tea we can take on the town. I'm going to hold back on the more inappropriate tea comments I could make.
I am looking for someone who is laid back but passionate about what they do (day job or hobbies), doesn't mind that I'm pretty busy sword fighting and pretending to punch people in the face, can appreciate a good pun and groan appropriately at a bad one, likes the woods, likes animals, likes meeting new and unique people, gives a penny as well as takes a penny, and doesn't wash their hands every five minutes. Life is a little dirty. Embrace it!
