This is my first venture into the online exploration of dating.
ughh..here goes.. I am a deep-thinker, world-traveller, quasi-intellectual, reader of many subjects, lover of life, history, cultures, music, animals, athletics. I am a girly-girl with a complete tomboy side. Born in Manhattan, raised in Ct and Va. I have recently moved back to the Big Apple and find the male/female scene so overhwleming and exhausting. I work a ton .. Dont we all, sadly, these days)

I adore travel! Have been to more than 10 countries and counting, always. I can be as comfy in a tent on some interesting expedition, as I can be at the Ritz..seriously. I feel many say this, but few can seriously hang. I spent a month in war-torn Iraq , and am always shifting my ventures, discoveries, and efforts in life. I am a "long-term relationship" type of gal.
At this point in my life life I am looking for a lover, best friend, travel partner, laughter partner, and partner in crime..haha!
I want to be on an even keel, be able to "not be too serious" all of the time, but "serious" at others, healthfully debate or discuss at other times. I am well-read, honest, sincere, open, and very humble. I would like my ideal man to be too.
I am not looking for marriage and bambinos right this second,..ughh..but I am human, it is in me or I'd be a liar, come on? Not getting any younger, and I will make a certain someone very happy one day.
I am into lovers of travel, animals, and children. Those who are well-read and well-versed in psychology, philosophy, history, and the wonders of life!
