I just recently finished nearly a decade's worth of school, so I'm basically up for anything besides studying and writing!
Most people would describe me as playful, friendly, enthusiastic, and sensitive. I value open-mindedness, kindness, curiosity, and a great sense of humor. I'm of the opinion that good conversation and laughter trump just about anything, so if I enjoy talking to and spending time with a person, I don't really care all that much about where we are or what we're doing. I love to cook and entertain, especially during a big game. If you happen to follow the EPL, come on over on Saturday or Sunday mornings; I'll make you breakfast! ;) I should also mention that you'll definitely score bonus points if you can make a killer martini. That said, if you specialize in preparing a different cocktail, I'd be happy to test it out! :)
Ideally, I'd like to meet someone who loves sports, but who also values intellectual conversation. I'm pretty easily entertained, particularly by the mundane. This might explain my mild obsessions with The Office and all works by David Sedaris.
I enjoy fundraising, and I've done a handful of walks and races to raise money for various charities. There are a few causes that are particularly important to me, so I try to seize any opportunity that I can to advocate for them--either by raising funds or simply spreading awareness.
I love foreign languages, and I'm always eager to learn about people's cultural experiences, particularly if they differ from my own. I speak Spanish fluently, and I'm proficient--but rusty--in French. I'd love to study more languages--and travel to the places in which they're spoken--once I have more free time.
