I am fairly laid back and conservative who is also a bit quiet, shy, cautious, and reserved at first. I have a very dry sense of humor and like to harmlessly and innocently tease a litle but just to get a giggle out of you.
I like to think I am a gentleman, am intelligent, witty, quick-witted, clever, understanding, compassionate, well-mannered, considerate, flexible, forgiving, honest, sincere, and observant. I also know I will sometimes fail at some of these. Have been told I look younger than my age.
I am emotional but will not show that until we get to know each other better. I will tell the truth but be forewarned that you may not always like my truthful answer.
I TRY to be romantic often, hopefully enough to keep you happy, but I also know I will fail at that sometimes. I am conscious of the fact that I should be that way more because I know most women like that. I am spontaneous sometimes too and will surprise you with flowers for no specific reason or occasion.
I am physically active and keep myself in good shape by working out and playing tennis, can compete with guys 10 years younger. I am open to new things, mostly - not sure if I would get a tattoo or piercing though. I am anal about some things as I know you are as well about some things.
I like most all kinds of music, except rap, enjoy watching TV and movies, dining out and the other usual things like the beach, travel, and new adventures. I like college football but if I miss a game then that's OK. I'd rather be participating than watching and the enjoyment of the activity is not so much the activity as it is the company you're with. I'm not much of a go-to-the-lake or river kind of person but not opposed to it either, just never had much of an opportunity. Don't chew tobacco or burp in public (whew!!!, she thinks).
Not a big cook but can cook some things; can microwave a frozen dinner with the best of them. I eat to live and not live to eat. Not much of a wine drinker either though it's ok if you are; guess I just have not found a wine I like. I keep a clean house, yard, and car.
Arrogance, rudeness, self-centeredness, high maintenance, your need and or desire to always be the center of attention, (I will try to always put you there) and a lot of perfume are a few of my dislikes. Just being honest.
I would like to find an attractive lady (imagine that, huh, a guy looking for a good looking woman) who is honest, sincere, intelligent, clever, and funny. Don't mind either if she is a little sassy and spunky too. I prefer her to be comfortable in jeans with little to no makeup on as well as in her slinky black dress in heels, and on my arm when the occasion warrants. I prefer someone with less drama and lower maintenance. I hope she is physically active and takes care of herself too.
I hope she can intelligently, honestly, and openly discuss things, good and bad, easy and difficult topics. I hope she would try to overlook my faults when they surface as I would try to reciprocate. We both know we might do things or say something that would make the other one question, wonder about, and even perhaps be judgmental about knowing that we each would have done that or said that completely differently. But let's face it, men are from Mars and women from Venus. Therefore, to be able to overlook those differences with little friction and to be able to accept that that's just you or that's just me would be a great thing to have between us.
