I am a lucky guy, surrounded by music and creativity almost every day. I run a company whose clients are rock stars, literally. I'm the business guy in the company, but my personal life is inpired by it.
I have lived in LA for 8 years, and absolutely love it. I own my home here. I plan to stick around for a long while. I like to travel, but I have roots. I've done a lot of adventuring, lived in another country, vacationed in a few, been to maybe half the states, and California takes the cake. I like to get away, but I love to come home. I mention this because a lot of the profiles in my search criteria emphasize travel.
On any given day, I love being able to walk out my back door to take a hike, and out the front door to find restaurants and night life. I train for the occasional 5k run and enjoy the canyon behind my condo to stay fit. As much a I love California, though, I'm from Maryland originally and I'm putting my money on the Baltimore Ravens to win the Superbowl.
I'm a dad. If you think this is a negative mark in a dating profile, all I can say is give me a chance and try me out. I've never been a player and started a long term, loving and committed relationship in my early twenties. My daughter came from this, and I share equally in her upbringing. Compare me to any other guy in his mid thirties who hasn't taken risks or made life decisions outside of his career.
However, I'm not looking for playdates. Adult time is important to me and I intend to keep the times completely seperate unless a real relationship with my date develops. The date who earns my trust will welcome sharing some of my domestic time, but until then, we're just having fun and getting to know each other.
