Let me get the basics out of the way, I am 5'5", 124 lbs, and slender/athletic build. That means I am NOT a busty girl, so if that is important to you, I wish you the best in your search!. There are like a gaJILLION of those lovelies here. Try the South Beach area.
Love baseball, the beach, fitness, music, theater, all things water, learning new things, intellectual pursuits. I am trying to re-learn the piano and to get serious about studying Spanish -- guess it's a good time for New Year's resolutions. Still learning my way around South Florida (only been here 2 years) and trying to enjoy all that it has to offer.
Recently started cycling and trying to explore the area more, but I don't know how to change a flat, so I'm reluctant to get out there on my own. I've just finished a couple of long-distance rides -- not sure why I wanted to torture myself, but it's a great feeling of accomplishment when you're done. In my mind, I'm a 24-year-old triathlete. Not that I've ever BEEN a 24-year-old athlete. Ever.
Passionate about my job (am an executive in a major non-profit) and tend to work a little too much, but I'm focusing on more balance in the coming year. Would like to learn to sail, paddleboard, and maybe even get ready for a 5K. OK, maybe a 1K. Also spend my time volunteering, which I enjoy, and becoming the "whole person" I strive to be.
I find humor everywhere. Irony is my friend. And my friend follows me around. All. The. Time.
For me, a great Saturday would start with a long walk on the beach, followed by a big breakfast, then on to a spring training game (hopefully the Braves), then a seafood dinner and a jazz club with a great wine list. Maybe a little dancing, but only if you have a great sense of humor.
I enjoy being around someone who has passion and; accomplishment -- whether it's about their job or their world-famous yo-yo collection. Someone who is spirited, intellegent, fun, and stimulating. I like to push myself and enjoy being around people who inspire me. Love to learn new things. And by the way, I am geeky enough to want to hear EVERYTHING about your yo-yo collection.
So far, the profiles of South Florida men are very interesting. Like most guys, you post photos of your luxury car, your boat (or yacht), your plane, your beachfront condo. But pictures of the big fish you caught? Even Freud can't figure that one out.
OTHER THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:
If you post a picture of your frou-frou dog, you darn well better be able to explain it.
I have no known disorders, but I am compelled to count the number of pelicans in a formation. No idea why.
I am a Type A personality, an only child, AND a Leo (like that matters . . . ). It's a wicked combination and not for the faint-hearted.
I don't care much for motorcycles, but I AM an organ donor. Oh, and I have to go to a lot of swanky events, not because I'm a wealthy socialite, but because my job demands it. So, if you look dashing in a tux, please let me know!
Would LOVE to fall in love, but I'm not rushing it. I think it should develop naturally. Hopefully, you're ok with that. Who's knows what might happen?
