So, after being on this site I feel it's necessary to revise my profile. My first profile was a funny, self deprecating look at match. That approach didn't seem to be attracting the right "potentials", so I thought I'd take a more direct approach.
So to save time, I figured I would list out things that I am interested in & if you think we might be a good match, I'd love to hear from you:
-humor - gotta have it. I'm not saying I want to date a stand up comedian, but I need someone who can laugh at themselves, me & others. I consider myself a pretty funny, sharp witted fellow, so need a dame that is the same.
-communication - ladies, sadly, many of you are terrible at this. The woman I'm looking for can speak AND write English. If she can do both in any other languages, fantastic, that will give us more of a reason to travel the world together. Again, please don't take this literally. I'm not looking for an English Major, I'm looking for someone with intelligence & the ability to express that intelligence clearly. I use slang all the time, but I know when & where are the proper times for both.
-social life - I like going out & squeezing the most out of life. I love the outdoors, kayaking is an example of things I enjoy. That's during the day; at night I like to also go out. I want a woman, a lady that can go to a wine/food festival on Friday night, an amazing dinner with friends on Saturday, followed by drinks at a club with loud music, close dancing & late mornings. I want a girl who can hang with my friends, regardless where the night takes us or how late it takes us. And then the next day, we can go to the Heat or Dolphins game. Finish up the weekend by spending some quality time with her or my family. That's the kind of woman I am looking for...
-music - would be great to meet someone with the supreme appreciation of music that I have. I love all kinds, even a couple of country songs are ok. Love going to live shows, go anytime I can. Saw Alicia Keys & Santana earlier this year.
-travel/culture - my ideal partner would have a sense of the world around them. That doesn't mean I need someone who's been to 40 countries. If you have, great!, we can have wonderful conversations about where you've been. What I mean is I want someone who doesn't think that South Florida, or even the states, are the be-all-end-all. I believe in appreciating & traveling to other cultures, so want to find the right person to share those moments.
-looks - it may sound shallow, but lets be honest, you HAVE to be attracted to someone, on a physical level for you to reach that Real Love that we are all looking for in life. I never thought I had a "type", but over the years, you realize you are naturally attracted to a certain look. So, for me, it's generally speaking darker features: brown, black hair...tan, brown, olive skin, sort of like mine. I am a SUCKER for curly hair. I go to the gym & take care of my body, I want a woman who does so as well. Again, not looking for Miss America (although that would be fun), just looking for someone that takes care of themselves and are fit.
Lets be honest, does anyone ever really read this stuff? It's all about the pictures for most people...
