Hmmm, a little about myself.
I'm a funloving guy who still believes in doing the little things like opening doors and being a gentleman, but I still know how to let loose and have fun. I'm basically looking for the same... a classy intelligent woman who can also let loose and have fun. In the long run, I am also looking for someone who doesn't need someone available all the time because of my chosen profession. Someone who is secure, in who they are, and is trusting and whom I can trust. That is down the road though.
Right now I am just looking to meet some new people, have fun, and see where it leads from there. I arrived in the great city of Chicago in the summer of 2011. I am originally from the Midwest and hold many of the traditional values from the area.
I am close to my family and friends. I would do anything within my power to help them. I believe in being a gentleman. I am a guys guy as well. By that, I mean I follow most major sports, grew up playing sports, enjoy the outdoors, and I am decent at fixing/doing things with my hands. I am not afraid to get dirty and I also enjoy some of the finer things in life.
Weekends you can find me at a bar having a couple drinks with friends, out to eat, all the way to enjoying a movie at home depending on the company. I am still learning more about the city every day. Hoping to find someone to enjoy it with.
As for relationships I pretty much know what I want at this point. Humor is important to me. Seriously, who doesn’t like to laugh? Honesty; because, to me, it is the foundation of a relationship. Attraction; has to be there in some capacity. There is obviously more, but hey I can’t give away everything.
Have had several questions about my career so I figured I would answer here. I graduated from OSU medical school in 2007. I now lame screen name, but I haven't figured out how to change it. I then went to Michigan and was a surgical resident for several years. I decided to switch fields and am now in chicago learning anesthesia. My current family and future family will undoubtedly thank me for the switch. Very happy with my current career choice.
Looking for someone to spend my life with…. Isn’t that the ultimate goal of dating? Meeting interesting people along the way is a bonus. Relationships work both ways, sometimes take a little work, and require attraction from both people. My theory on the “dating” thing is only one relationship is supposed to work out so whether that takes dating 1 person or a 100 never get jaded or give up hope the one is right around the corner.
