When people first get to know me, I've been told that I either come across very strong or very quiet. But then I surprise them with my silly outgoing side, like bursting out in song (sometimes from camp) or dance moves in public. I grew up on a small farm in southern Ohio and love that lifestyle. But I would give anything to be living back in D.C. again. I follow Ohio State football religiously, but don't ask me a thing about the pros. I have four beautiful nieces and nephews and I adore them. My sisters and I were told growing up that we had to share everything and their children count also, they are my babies too, just ask them. When I make it home most of my time is monopolized by playing with them. I am an excellent swing pusher. I grew up on a small hobby farm and raised steers for 4-H. I've stayed involved with the 4-H program and do a lot of work and volunteering with that. When I take a break from the grad student thing I like to read, listen to music, watch TV, hang out with my roommates or take off to visit friends. I'm not even sure I should be doing this, but a friend convinced me to give it a try and for my birthday I finally agreed to a month paid. I agreed because I'm tired of not really knowing anyone in the area and because well, it is hard to meet people when you are in class or the office all the time. It's the life of a grad student I suppose. I'm looking for someone who shares similar values and accepts me for who I am, all my crazy quirks included.
