Im here on Match looking to just put myself out there and meet new people. Don't think meeting someone in a bar can go very far. No expectations, just a friendship first and then see how it goes from there. I believe every relationship should start from a friendship. With that being said, Im not looking for a one-night stand either. I recently just experienced a tragedy in my life that has made me look at love and life in a whole new light. I dont want to scare anyone away, but I strongly believe in honestly and I dont want to waste anyones time. I want someone strong who wont easily run away.
So, a little about me. Im a RN in a neonatal intensive care unit (I take care of sick and premature babies) I love my job and find it absolutely rewarding. Taking care of others seems to be what Im really good at. I think of myself as pretty laid back and easy going. I love someone who can make me laugh and take my jokes. I absolutely hate drama and I try to avoid being around negative people. Im definitely not picky and im always willing to try something at least once. I'm a little bit of a nerd because I love sci-fi and superheroes. I also love sports, especially football. Im most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, but I can definitely pull off a dress and heels. I come from a big family (5 bros and 2 sisters,) so family is very important to me. I would love to travel more and experience different cultures.
I don't really have a "type," but there are characteristics in a guy I find appealing. Just to name a few: Humor, open-mindness, ambition, honesty, friendship, respect, communication.
When on a dating site, I think people can make themselves out to be whoever they want. I believe it's not until you meet someone in person and engage in good conversation that you really see them for who they really are.
