A few things I'd love in a date:
Hmmm I'm interested in dating the girl who people "cant believe is single". She's the one that has her stuff together... educated, working professional, and gorgeous but does not necessarily work at being gorgeous. She smiles kindly at strangers and can hold the attention of a room, without being "that girl". She can be left alone in a social setting and walk out with 10 new friends, and has her own set of friends that know who she is and where she is from. She is not afraid to scrunch her face into oddly contorted shapes for a photograph. Being active in a volunteer group would let me know she is caring. A pair of red heels and skinny jeans would let me know she cares. Exploring restaurants and family vineyards in Europe is her ideal vacation, hiking in her backyard is her ideal Sunday. If she does the shopping, I'll do the cooking.
I'm a wedding photographer. I spend most weekends photographing people who are in love, and quite honestly it's awesome.
I went to Santa Clara University to be an Engineer, aka Gadget Jockey. I've actually fantasized about building a robot.
My grandfather (G-pa) inspires me, we're going to Costa Rica together in January for 12 days to photograph birds. He's 83. If I'm kicking it with my grandkids at 83 im gonna high five myself (if I can still lift my hands over my head)
I rarely go to the same restaurant twice, but the pork chop at NOPA demands my attention. It's like a human deer lick.
When I'm not shooting weddings you might find me helping plan fundraisers for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area, or hanging out at Dave and Busters with my little brother.
I am a self proclaimed Food Network junkie. Alton Brown, you are like Gandolf in the kitchen... but better!
Cooking is my way of fulfilling the need to build something from nothing. Probably more useful than the model airplanes I used to build as a kid.
When traveling I prefer to not book hotels... Meh... hotels. Who needs hotels? The unknown path feels like an adventure and keeps me focused on the moment and not the destination. However, if I'm traveling with a lady... well, that's another story.
I believe my Vitamix, a 2 horsepower blender, is a necessary part of any day.
My alarm clock plays Tiesto's podcast. I dance out of bed.
You know the scenes in Modern Family where Phil and Clair high five each other after getting their kids straightened out? That's how I want my marriage to be.
Driving my BMW makes me feel SEXY! Sleeping in the back of it while on photo road trips makes me feel rugged. Grrr!
Nordstroms and Zara have my favorite threads... Trim fit and tailored! Well, that and my LuLu Lemon Kung Fu pants, which I affectionately call my "ManLu".
Hosting parties and planning events is my way of sharing the talent and resources I was given... and by given... I mean taught by my mother.
I love taking pictures, but without the relationships I build with my clients, my job would feel empty.
