It seems like everyone I know has tried this and has had some luck, so I thought what the hell...it can't hurt, right??
So, some things about me -- I'm originally from Sacramento, I've been in the bay for 9 years. I love simple things - going to brunch, coffee shops, the farmer's market, hiking, going on a picnic, the beach, dive restaurants, watching tv (How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family and Glee are my favorite shows), I like watching basketball (my fave sport) and the Giants play. I have yet to make it to a professional football game, but would be down to do so... it doesn't take a lot to keep me entertained. I also like traveling around the bay and taking long drives to Monterey/Santa Cruz or up to Wine Country or Tahoe.
I'm always up for trying new things...I finally crossed off whitewater rafting, standup paddle boarding, zip lining and indoor rock climbing off my bucket list. Something I've always wanted to do is ride ATVs on the sand dunes at Pismo Beach. I love being by the water, I find it very relaxing. I want to learn how to snowboard. I have a looooong list of places I want to visit - South Africa, New Zealand, Greece, Spain to name a few.
Personality-wise, I can by shy but I enjoy meeting new people, I can be sarcastic (but its all in good fun.. :) ) i believe in karma - I'm all about treating people how you want to be treated. Family is very important to me, I'm an only child, but I have cousins who I'm close too and act more like siblings to me than cousins. I love to laugh and I will be the first person to laugh at myself when I say or do something dumb. Myers Briggs classified me as ISTP... which I agree with - Like I mentioned I can be shy, I'm also detail-oriented/solutions-oriented and realistic, and I like to keep my options open, I'm flexible and I like to explore.
What I'm hoping to find though this process...
A guy that's down to earth with good family values, a good heart and a sense of humor (this is very important!), someone with strong integrity and keeps it real, doesn't mind bantering with me or calling me out when needed - I can handle it :o) Doesn't allow pride to get in their way. Ambitious and driven in both life and work, loves to travel and appreciates exploring the world around them, open to new experiences and trying new things, adventurous in dining out, enjoys simple pleasures, is serious about a relationship... Not interested in playing games.
