When I asked a friend what I should write on my online profile he told that this is a place you are supposed to brag about yourself; something I don't do very often. I will try my best though :-)
I have many passions, interests, and hobbies and on occasion many of them have bled over into my career or work. I was the founder and CEO of a software company; I have a degree in computer science. I was the CEO and founder of an online book retailer; I’m passionate about books. I served in the United States Air Force; where I learned the value of integrity – plus I got to live in Germany! I was a software engineer for NASA; astronomy and space flight fascinate me. Currently, I’m heading up a software development division in a Pittsburgh based start-up; where I can apply all my interests, creativity and passions to help build a successful company. There are so many other things that interest me, photography, travel, art, home improvement, live music, and movies just to name a few.
