I'm 32 years old, single, and I don't have any kids (yet). However, I do have a 4-year old Peekapoo (dog) who is very spoiled. I moved to Htown about 4 years ago. I'm a true homebody and I haven't made many friends since I've been here. I'm a math and technology teacher (2nd career) in a local school district. I'm very ambitious and goal-oriented, and I hope to build an empire with my partner one day. I've got the career on track, but it seems that now I'm just missing someone special to grow with.
I've decided to update this profile to ensure that neither your time or mine is wasted. I'll focus it on more about my ideal mate rather than too much stuff about me.
My ideal mate doesn't mind investing time to get to know me and is okay with sharing his life stories with me too. Now, I am not the old-fashioned type by any means, but I do respect myself and can see straight through a guy who isn't genuinely interested in us getting to know each other. I've accomplished a lot in my life and my career, and I'm ready to move onto another phase. Besides, I'm 32 years old now. I have that analytical personality, so if I'm over-thinking something then just let me know ;-) My ideal mate is through with club hopping and doesn't mind spending an evening indoors to play dominoes, video games, cards or UNO. I can even whip up a good meal while we play ;-)
I do enjoy going out sometimes to do things like shoot pool, Dave Buster's, dining out, or bowling. I also enjoy spending time on the water during the summer months. Although wining and dining is cool, you should know that I am completely appreciative of going out to Starbucks for a date to sit, chat, and enjoy your company along with a tasty latte'.
My ideal mate is a good listener. Now, I know that women have the ability to rant on and on about the most irrelevant things. It's just our nature. However, I would hope that you have already figured out that women appreciate a man who listens and seems to care (even if you pretend to, lol). I love to talk and can spark up a conversation about almost anything. I enjoy mentally stimulating conversation. My ideal mate is intelligent, God-fearing, honest, has a good personality, and can even be funny at times.
I consider myself to be untypical of most women though. I'm not materialistic. I hate shopping or getting my hair or nails done (unless it's a special occasion). I do my own hair and I bite my nails (bad habit). I used to be an athlete. I think that I'm a very simple person who isn't hard to please. It seems that I am able to effortlessly make others laugh often. I speak with an accent, but I am able to consciously suppress it. I am easily annoyed, but not easily angered. However, I know how to easily brush off things that annoy me. I work with teens, so I guess this is a skill that was necessary for me to develop so I wouldn't lose my mind. lol.
