Hi! I'm Jen. I just moved back to Texas after having lived in upstate New York for almost 12 years. I've found it's really hard to meet people other than at work, where most everyone is married with children, so I thought I'd give this a try.
I am very laid back ~ not much offends me. I like to go with the flow, but can be spontaneous as well. Sense of humor is big with me because I love to laugh. My sense of humor is often dry. I love to tease and can take being teased as well. Being able to laugh at yourself is an important quality, don't you think?
My family is very important to me and I like to spend time with them. I like to think I'm a very giving person ~ if I see something that makes me think of someone, I'll get it for them just because. I'll also go to the ends of the earth for the ones I love.
I'm a vegetarian because of my love for animals. While I don't expect to find another vegetarian, I at least need somebody who respects my beliefs. I'm not against eating out at a steak house as long as there's something I can eat.
I'm looking for someone who is my equal. I've seen too many relationships where one person is "in charge" that is not the kind of relationship I want. An appreciation for animals is important as well. I will always have pets, so if you don't like all animals, I am not the girl for you. I'm sure there's a lot more to tell, but I can't think of it right now.
