I would describe myself as being a fun, confident, quick-witted and intellectual person. Naturally, I am also very caring, that is how I decided to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse. I joined match.com because I am looking to make a connection with someone and eventually develop a relationship - and hopefully have some fun along the way!
I am lucky to have a great family that is very important to me, so I am certainly looking for someone who appreciates their family as well. I have also developed a wonderful circle of friends, from childhood, college and within my profession. Spending free time with my family and friends is my favorite way to relax!
I was born and raised in Westchester, and I attended college in Rhode Island, so I share a love for both the city and the beach. In the summer I enjoy spending time at the beach - I really wouldn't mind going everyday! During the rest of the year, I enjoy going into the city and exploring the area that I live in. Some of my favorite things to do in New York would be going out to dinner and seeing a show, as well as going to The Met and discovering their new exhibits. Although I love the arts, I am equally happy going out on the town as I am staying in. Sometimes there is nothing better than enjoying a bottle wine and a rental movie!! I also have a lot of fun discovering a great new dive bar or getting bleacher tickets to a Yankee game - with either one, you can't go wrong!
Another one of my interests is travel. I try to take a trip every year, and most of the time I end up in Europe! I enjoy visiting family in Italy and Switzerland, and I have recently used my passport to explore Amsterdam, Munich and Paris. I can certainly appreciate a great weekend roadtrip, too. I love escaping to the mountains for some skiing, or going on a spontaneous getaway somewhere!
In my free time, I enjoy singing and performing with a classical choir, based out of the city. Being dedicated to another passion besides nursing helps me to feel well-rounded and accomplished on a whole other level. I love the way that music balances my life. I feel that it is very important for someone to not only have an intellectual part of them, but an artistic side as well.
Ok, enough about me, let's talk about you! My ideal match would be someone who could challenge me intellectually, while being able to crack a corny joke and have me laughing until I cry. I am looking for someone who loves their family, is honest, respectful, goal-oriented and knows what they want out of life. Of course a physical and emotional attraction is important, but you can't really know if that's there until you meet face-to-face!
