I guess I will start this how I see a lot of people do, and say I don't like writing about myself but... I’ll just write a full-length autobiography… My name is Nate. I’m a pretty relaxed and easygoing person. I have a bachelors in psychology from UCSD, but don’t use it too much in my career, other than to secretly psychoanalyze people; just kidding (sort of). I work in medical billing, and will be applying to MBA programs in the next application cycle. I am career minded, but still make time to enjoy live and have fun with my friends and family.
For fun I like to go out to dinner with friends or family. I love to try new types of food, and am always looking for things I haven’t tried before. I also like to go wine tasting/on brewery tours, go to museums, concerts, etc... or if I have some spare time my friends and I will just drive somewhere and have a spontaneous adventure. I have definitely found that, for me, its more about who your with than what your doing, so it doesn’t really take much to make me happy; just family and friends.
Before working in medical billing I worked in neuroscience research for a few years at a couple of universities. I didn’t want to make a career out of it, but I am definitely still interested in the topic. I like to talk about implications of emerging neuroscience research on philosophical constructs. But don’t worry, I’m not all boring, I also like to talk about global impact of U.S. fiscal policy. Just Kidding, I actually have fun talking about everything from fashion to pop culture to physics.
I guess I am on here looking for someone who is smart, funny, down to earth. Someone who is not overly serious but doesn’t mind “nerding it up” once in a while, and just someone who is fun to be around. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
