Hey there! Yes, I'm single, and it has become quite clear to me that I am not meeting anyone interesting in the typical hang-out places (e.g., bars). So here I am. Putting myself out there. I'm a pretty easy going person. I absolutely love to laugh. Humor is a very attractive attribute. I also like intellectual conversation as well as witty banter. I enjoy working out and being outside. I love going to rock shows and hitting the town, but I like low-key nights at home watching a little Family Guy or The History Channel. I love all animals. Simple things make me smile, and I smile a lot. I take great pleasure in small and large victories alike. I consider myself an optimist. I can find the good even when something is bad. I can't stand negativity and pessimism. I'm compassionate, and I have the ability to put myself in the other person's shoes. I think I have an exceptional ability to meet people where they are at. I believe my friends would describe me as one of the least judgmental people they have ever met. I try not to let people walk all over me, but sadly, it happens sometimes. If something is worth doing, its worth doing right; I do everything full tilt. I'm hoping to find someone who appreciates these qualities and has a zest for life. I like guys who enjoy being outside, aren't lazy, have a great sense of humor, and can actually have a conversation. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer gentleman too. Holding a door open for a woman goes a long way. I can't stand disrespect. Further, I'm looking for someone who is at a point in their life where they are ready to take things to the next level. I truly enjoy my work, but it doesn't completely consume me. But I do enjoy telling funny stories from work. Its how I cope with some of the difficult things I see and hear at my job. I absoutely love being outside and am always up for adventure. I'm obsessed with water too, especially the ocean. If I'm at the beach, I'm usually in the drink the entire time. I also love water sports (jet ski, scuba, snokel, surfing). I don't have any particular talent in any of these areas, but I squeal with excitement while I'm engaging in them...so thats all that matters. There is lots more to me, but I don't like to reveal too much up front. I'm somewhat of a private person, but of course I'll open up face-to-face. Looking forward to meeting someone amazing! Oh and jerks, liars, and tool boxes need not apply. Seriously. Oh, and lastly, if you have difficulty with the fact that I'm going to be a psychologist and you think I'm "analyzing" you all the time, you can stay away. I'm interested in thought processes and human behavior, so if I'm asking you forward questions it's simply because I'm curious, not because I have a hidden agenda or I'm trying to "help" you. I get paid for that and that is "work" to me, so I have absolutely no need, interest, and/or want to do it for free outside of work. A lawyer doesn't want to practice law outside of work, nor does a medical doctor want to provide free treatment on his or her free time, so trust me, I'm very similar in that respect. That is all. :-)
