I spend a lot of my life in motion. As a self-employed truck driver, I’ve logged many a mile and seen many a beautiful city. When I’m at home, I love the freedom of riding my motorcycle (I just traded my Suzuki GSXR 1000 for a Suzuki Hayabusa GSXR1300). Even pushing my muscles to their limit at the gym or on the basketball court, I’m happy to be moving. I wouldn’t say I’m a health nut, but don’t be surprised to see me stocking up on alfalfa sprouts and yogurt. Though I enjoy quiet nights alone with a good book or a game of chess online, I’ve been passionate about helping others since my cub-scout days. If I know a friend is feeling low, I make it my business to give him a cheer-up gift and call to make sure he’s doing alright. I never forget a birthday and I always get a card. Taking care of my family is especially important to me. I’m close with all three of my siblings, and my son and I play together all the time, poring over a cool new book on the solar system or working on his jump-shot outside. I’m a simple person and I like simple things. If this sounds good, I’d love to enjoy the simple pleasure of your company.
ABOUT THE ONE I’M LOOKING FOR:
She’s a Virgo. Just kidding (though I do think there’s something to astrology). Regardless of when she was born, she possesses the great Virgo traits of being outgoing, maternal, and extremely expressive. She’s a bit of a tomboy. When riding a horse or just racing me home, she doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty. Though she’s athletic, she enjoys curling up with a good book too. She loves to talk. And she’s the perfect conversationalist because she knows what’s going on in the world but isn’t argumentative in expressing her opinions. She somehow manages to balance family picnics and birthday parties with her own goals. (Whether she’s resolving to reinvent her career or just finish that book that’s been sitting on her shelf, she’s extremely driven.) I love a woman who likes to cook, especially if she likes veggies. Always open-minded, she’s more spiritual than religious. She shares my desire to travel the world, and together we see the rainforests in Brazil, the glaciers in Alaska, and the world’s biggest trees in Sequoia National Forest. No matter where we go or what we’re doing, we’re happy to have found someone to connect with.
