My first love is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I've invited him into every aspect of my life and am looking for a man who is after His heart as well.
I am passionate about my goals for the future. I moved from Detroit to Houston to pursue my Masters in school psychology. I have an ambitious nothing can't stop me attitude toward anything I set in my mind that I want. I'm witty and quick on my toes, which is a combination of the many years playing the dozens and just being plain intelligent. Last but not least, I am a good friend- loyal, compassionate, caring and giving.
I'm blessed to be the mother of my handsome son and beautiful daughter. My days are filled with showing them love and pouring into their lives the most positive experiences I can provide. They are my heart and I would give and do anything in the world for them.
I love music... I listen to it on the way to work, in the shower, as I brush my teeth, cook and clean. I start my morning with Gospel to get the day started right. My favorite genres are Neo-Soul and R&B but I also have a mix of Rap, Pop and Rock on my iPhone. My radio will play anything from Jay-Z, Nas and Kanye West to The Foreign Exchange, Marsha Ambrosius and Eric Roberson to The Roots, Slum Village or Dwele. Did I mention that I'm originally am from Detroit? So by default and by love for my city I love anything associated with my hometown.
I am looking for a man who is after Gods heart and puts God first in every aspect of his life. It also wouldn't hurt if he is ambitious and believes that the sky is the limit for the goals that he wants to accomplish, loving and not afraid to express his feelings, honest and would like to build a friendship that could possibly turn into more. A gentleman would definitely make a good impression upon me. The old school and timeless acts of opening doors and pulling out chairs, go a long way because those acts are not common. Finally, I'm looking for a man who is consistent. Because I consider my time valuable, I would like a man who would respect my time by being honest and openly communicating.
