I decided to move to DC after graduating from college on a whim and found myself working in politics. I have loved every minute of living here. I like to go out on the weekends with friends, mostly to dive bars. During the week I try and focus on hitting the gym, catching up on DVR, etc.. My favorite shows are It's Always Sunny in Philadephia, Eastbound and Down, Modern Family, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, How I Met Your Mother, and most shows on Bravo.

No, I do not like NFL football. I didn't go to an SEC school either, but will always be a loyal Alabama fan
I get excited for snow storms and yes, can even drive in inclement weather
I just started a new job that I love, but still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up
Although I claim Alabama as home, I was born in NY, went to boarding school in RI and then college in TX
I love reading and bring my kindle with me everywhere - I generally read a book a week
I have an odd fascination with Cartman. Or maybe it's not so odd. But he pretty much rules.
When I decide I am going to drink soda, I will only have regular or cherry coke if I'm feeling fancy. None of that diet bs.
I have a legit fear of mayo - won't touch it or eat anything in the vicinity of it. Other than that, I have a pretty sophisticated palate.

Humor is my numero uno. If you're not ok with laughing so hard a "snort" may slip, then you probably don't enjoy the same humor I do.
Uses sarcasm - and lots of it. There's nothing better than coming into an awkward situation and livening things up with some well directed comments, dripping in sarcasm.
Can tolerate my love of awesome rap music (I say awesome, my friends say awful)
Dislikes night clubs and all that goes along with it
Can party like a rock star. After all, that's what weekends are for. (Althought lately, "party like a rock star" has come to mean "attends weddings on a regular basis and is home by midnight from the bar"). But you know, we all get old.
