Internet dating is something I never thought I would do but its not a crime to try something once....I am a New Yorker 100%. Just moved to FL in January from Long Island to take care of my grandmother who is a holocaust survivor and miss it dearly. It's lonely but as a high school math teacher, volleyball coach and math coach my life is pretty busy. Originally I was an art and business major and transfered to math ed. I know, who likes math?! So since I'm a teacher, I am definitely not a pushover. I love attention but am also very independent. I have a good personality and am very outgoing, honest, easy going, caring, loving, happy go lucky and always looking for new and exciting things. I treat people the way I would like to be treated. My friends and family are very important to me. I am always open and honest with people no matter what the situation because I would want the same respect in return.
I like to keep my life moving but at the same time am happy with popping in a movie and being comfy and cozy at home. I love the beach, yoga, hiking, camping, snorkeling, and pretty much anything outdoors. Negativity and a truck drivers mouth is a big turn off to me. I like to try and keep a smile on my face and surround myself with positivity whenever I can. Laughing is contagious for me and I love to smile. I'm not competitive although no one ever likes to loose and I do like sports, more to play than watch. If I had to chose what my favorite to watch is it would have to be hockey. Teams: it would be Jets, Mets and Islanders but I don't follow anything I just root for NY. I love going to any type of games, concerts, outdoor/indoor events.
I'm looking for someone who is down to earth and truly cares about themselves and others. You need to have your head on straight and know what you want. Someone who likes to have a good time but can also make a good time out of whatever is handed to them. Personality, independence, cleanliness and spontaneity are definitely traits I look for as well. Just all around, I'd like someone who is fun loving, willing to try new things, considerate, compassionate, willing to compromise, and enjoys not only keeping busy but having down time as well. If you're able to dance or just willing to move your butt and make a fool out of yourself thats a big plus also! :)
