I am a pretty laid back, open-minded person. Passionate about lot of different things. Very spontaneous, love to travel and enjoy outdoors.
I grew up in Punjab, India till I was 18 and then my family moved to Colorado in 1994. Having spent my undergrad years in Boulder, Colorado I have been exposed to an active outdoorsy lifestyle and love to go hiking, camping, biking at any opportunity I get. I enjoy all sorts of sports but particularly like playing Tennis with my brother. Beach Volleyball and Swimming during summer. Rollerblading in Central park. Watching baseball games at the stadium. Skiing in Aspen, Whistler. Love adventure sports: Scuba, Cliff jumping and Para gliding. Sailing is next. I love traveling and exploring new cultures and places. Love to cook but also like going out for dinner and trying cuisine's and having a stimulating conversation.
I got my bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Boulder, Colorado. Lived/worked in Atlanta, San Francisco, Chicago and NY before going back to grad school in Boston to get a Masters with a focus in Finance. Worked for an Investment Bank in there Equity Research division post grad school. Currently work in a Strategic Sales / Biz Dev role at a High-Tech and Loving it. I believe, being passionate about what you do for a living is one of the keys to happiness and I am always striving to strike a balance between work and my time with friends/family.
Compassion is the most important virtue to me. I try to do the right thing and take care of people around me. Hopefully I can contribute more to make the world a better place; I always feel like I am not doing enough and constantly re-inventing myself to become a better person. Nothing is more valuable to me than my family. My brother/sis-in-law, nieces and parents all live in Colorado and I visit them as often as I can.
Good sense of humor, caring and loving nature, thirst for knowledge, passion about learning new things, not afraid of being themselves.... are just a few traits I am looking for in a person.
