This sounds overly simple but - I'm just looking for someone who I can have a great time hanging out with and who can make me smile.
I love hanging out with friends, trying new restaurants, finding any excuse to be outside on a gorgeous day. I moved to DC a few years ago but I'm still having a great time discovering new neighborhoods and things to do. On a typical weekend you'll find me in a park with my dog, heading to the beach, reading a book, and/or hanging with friends (usually involves a margarita or two...).
I'm probably one of the rare people who can truly say that I love my job. I'm fully aware of how lucky I am and I am thankful for it daily. My job is demanding, but I've been able to balance by life with my job. I'm looking for someone who is similarly happy and successful in their career and who knows how to leave the office behind on the weekends.
What I am not interested in -- endless winks and emails. I have tried Match before and it became a second job. I'm a huge believer in chemistry and "the spark" - but you cannot sense either through winks and emails. After a few initial emails - let's meet for coffee or a cocktail. Also, I am looking for a relationship - so if you're emotionally unavailable and just want a buddy to pal around with - I'm probably not the girl for you.
