Thanks for checking out my profile. If you know the show I took my headline from, there is a good chance we would be good friends. If you like that show, we would probably be best friends.
When I was putting this together, I felt like I was 18 again writing my personal statement for college applications. I suppose the biggest difference between college applications and match is the fact that match.com involves slightly more winking.
I guess I should spend more of my 4000 characters telling you more about me and what brought me to match. So here goes:
For starters, I like to think I’m personable and outgoing. Probably the most important thing to know about me is that there’s nothing I enjoy more than making people laugh. Even though I can take certain things seriously, I also find at least a little bit of humor in everything. My ideal date would be someone who’s clever and doesn’t take herself too seriously. If you’ve been described as charming and witty, I’m very interested in meeting you.
Work keeps me pretty busy. Most of my free time is spent with my friends from college. Between work and meeting up with friends, there is little time for much else. Instead of regular hobbies, I’m constantly looking for new things to try and new places to visit. Last summer I finished my SCUBA certification, and I'm hoping to start diving more regularly. Unfortunately, it's been a couple years since my last big trip, but I'm anxious to make another trip overseas to some place exotic or remote. Ideally, I’d like to meet someone who shares my sense of adventure.
That’s enough about me. I’m more interested in learning about you. I hope to hear from you soon. And of course, if anyone asks, we'll tell them we met at Starbucks.
