I'm always up for an adventure and willing to try new things (ok maybe not swimming with sharks with fresh steak tied to my ankle but going somewhere I've never been, sky diving, polar plunge, well, then maybe). I love romance and everything that goes with it and love spending time with that special someone whether it be skiing, hiking or simply being on the couch watching a movie. I truly am down to earth, loving and affectionate. I like good wine, good food, warm sand, live music, a good book, a great movie, art that makes sense, hole in the wall restaurants, road trips, beach vacations and a whole lot more :) Travels are always a mix of "must see/go find," "let's see where this goes" and of course, the lying by the ocean with cocktail in hand. I think the best way to really see things is up close, and I can take time to enjoy a magnificent view, whether I just stumble across it or had to trek up to find it. Often, I have a camera in hand; I am usually the one capturing the moment as well as being in It. I believe laughter can cure just about anything and more often than not I am the one putting a smile on people's face.
I moved here from NY almost 5 years ago and at heart, I'm a beach girl. Finding good pizza has been a mission for me since I got here! I spend a lot of time with my 2 blue heelers hiking and exploring all the great places in Colorado! They make me smile and bring a ton of happiness to my life. I love my family and friends and even though I don't have kids of my own I am open to being with someone who does. I have 5 nephews and a niece that live across the street so there are always little ones running around.
In the end, I'm just looking to find that special someone that puts a smile on my face and lights up my eyes when I see him. Smart, sincere, funny, charming, a lover of animals, a good friend, attractive, sarcastic but not rude and down to earth. All words that not only describe who I am but also words that describe some of the characteristics of who I would love to meet!!!! Good luck in your search!
