For me, it starts with family. I grew up in a very close family. I have a twin sister and an older brother, and our biggest sibling accomplishment was to create years of chaos for our parents. They were able to handle it because there was nothing else going on in small town Iowa! We live in three different Midwest cities now; but we reune almost once a month. These weekends are my favorite times – my siblings and I run after two adorable nieces and a nephew while my parents offer occasional commentary between sips of wine.
In work, I am constantly reminded that life is both fragile and precious—I am mostly reminded this via my patients. It’s a reality check that I know is rare, and makes me grateful for each day.
Sports have been a huge part of my life. I grew up playing soccer and went on to play in college. They taught me teamwork and how to pursue a goal and led me to some of my best friends. I love attending all sporting events!
I enjoy traveling, some of my favorite destinations include Whistler, Hawaii, Belize, Thailand, Taipei, Boundary Waters, and can't wait to explore Europe.
So what’s missing? I have a great life, But the good stuff is amplified when you share it with someone. And I know that I build bigger and better when I do it as part of a team.
It is important to me that you have figured yourself out -- at least a bit. ? Along with that, a spontaneous, genuine, honest, fun, happy, drama free, man would be a great fit!
Hopefully, you will read the above and find pieces of it familiar. But you will have your own passions, some will be worlds different than mine and I will be anxious to learn all about them!
