I am a mixture of classic values and progressive thinking. I love it when people embrace their uniqueness. I believe in treating everyone with respect and stopping the ball of negativity from rolling whenever possible. I cherish being silly and always embracing the opportunity to laugh. I think that being driven to follow your bliss is admirable as it takes much courage and perseverance.
I have spent the past several years as a performance artist and an educator, and love language and poetry. I enjoy collaborating with organizations that serve vulnerable populations, and have just begun grad school for my Masters in Social Welfare. So... I am busy as heck, but we make room for things that matter, yes?
I am prone to random dance outbreaks, especially when alone in my home.
I love my family and am blessed to have grown up in such a dedicated, safe, dignified and generous household. My close friends are also family to me.
I believe in exploring the eclecticism of all things and frown on creating barriers and differences that are only imaginary. Being raised Canadian really did a lot to instill this in me. I seriously dislike cultural divisiveness.
I am definitely a foodie, but not a snob.
Yoga is my sanctuary.
