I value spending time with family and friends. I appreciate all kinds of good food - cooking at home or dining out. I'm a health-conscious person and enjoy staying active. I played sports in high school and college. I'm not much of a gym junkie but enjoy hiking and anything outdoors. I started skiing a couple years ago and absolutely love it - I just hope we get some more snow this year!
I'm a geologist and I enjoy my job (most of the time). I find it mentally, and at times, physically challenging. It takes me to some exciting places including remote areas of Alaska and Utah. As much as I enjoy the solitude of the desert and bush Alaska, I also enjoy spending time in SF. I have been working on a couple projects in the bay area.
I believe having a good sense of humor and a positive outlook on life are two of the most important qualities a person can have. Above all, I am looking for a friend to share a good laugh and see where it goes from there.
