I grew up in Chicago but have moved around a bit for the last six years, most recently I moved from San Diego to DC about 18 months ago. I think the world is too small to never leave home which is why I've also traveled quite a bit as well. Some of my favorite trips have been to Argentina, Vietnam and Australia. I've been to 5 continents so far and would love to get to all seven at some point. Over the next year or so I plan to travel to Brazil, Argentina (again) and London.
I'm #2 of 8 kids, everyone is back in Chicago except for myself and a sister who just moved to London (Which is why I plan to travel there soon). I love my family and have an adorable little niece who just turned 1, so I travel back to Chicago fairly often. They are definitely a big part of my life and who I am today.
I have been described by friends as loyal, kind, ambitious and sarcastic (which is definitely the Chicago in me). I have a great job which was created for me (the reason I moved to DC), the job has been the best thing that could have happened though I don't see myself working there forever. I think my next move will be to start my own company as I've been told (and believe) I have the entrepreneurial spirit.
I would say I'm definitely more of a morning person and daytime activity kind of guy rather than a night owl who hangs at the bar and clubs. I do love going out to new restaurants and don't mind a quiet lounge with some good friends. I'm sure you could say I'm more of a few close friends kind of a guy than one with a large group of acquaintances.
I'm sure this will sounds cheesy but I'm definitely driven towards being successful both personally and professionally. I love traveling and having new experiences as well as rising the corporate ladder (for now) and eventually running my own business. I'm definitely someone who craves intellectual stimulation. I'm looking for someone who has similar ambitions or goals in their life. I definitely believe in finding someone who can challenge you to be better and vice versa.
Anyway, outside of all of that, I love watching shows, going to the movies and reading books. A night in always is OK with me. I love watching sports (Bears, Bulls and Cubs), deep dish pizza (definitely the best) and witty banter. If your reading my profile, don't be shy, you should write me a note and say Hello.
