My friends would describe me as an intelligent, funny, competitive (understatement), fitness enthusiast that enjoys traveling and meeting new people. I hold myself to a very high standard and set goals to make sure I keep advancing in life...both personally and professionally. I recently moved to Chicago for work and would like to find an active female that shares similar interests; a passion for fitness, traveling, trying new things (restaurants, outdoor activities, etc.) and being social. I have the best job ever but it does require a fair amount of traveling...for that reason I figure I'd give this online thing a shot in hopes to meet new friends and maybe more.
I'm the oldest of 5 siblings so I'd like to think I'm a mature and level headed guy. I have three sisters which means I can talk about every Sex and the City episode...please don't make me. I hate scary movies (what's the point?!) and don't even watch the previews. I'm a vivid dreamer and don't want to be seeing weird creatures from the Hills Have Eyes while I'm trying to sleep.
I spent my childhood in SE Asia (mostly Hong Kong) before moving to Oregon which is where I spent the last 15 years. I played soccer competitively through college and would eventually like to find a league to join in Chicago. Without soccer I've been spending my time in the gym and running along the lakefront. I expect Crossfit to be my next (physical) challenge so you'll earn some points if you can show me the ropes. I'm heading back to Oregon to run the Hood to Coast relay in August and would love to find someone that enjoys doing adventure races or anything similar. Bonus points if cutoff shorts are a staple in your summer wardrobe, you aren't afraid to be seen in the free weights section of the gym or if you can teach me something new.
