Howdy,
Are you curious, do you like adventure? I suppose for most that would depend on the context. Adventure according to Wikipedia (we are on the internet) is “...an exciting or unusual experience; it may also be a bold, usually risky undertaking, with an uncertain outcome.” So what dose this mean to me? Well I enjoy the usual suspects; the great outdoors, camping, hiking and such. I grew up around the ocean and love scuba diving water sports and the life aquatic in general. An adventurous weekend might involve a scuba diving, a trip in my kayak, a week end road trip to the Florida keys or just something local. The only requirement: avoid routines. I also love to plan big trips, like a road trip to some far away place. I would love to travel to another country, and will sample most any cuisine. Basically I believe Anthony Bourdain of Travel channels “No Reservations” has my dream job.
If you have read this far I would say you also like to adventure and are a bit curious, so what are my interests?...
I like puzzles... but not the ones you think. I love to take things apart to see how they work. I have built several engines and love to tinker, but, don’t worry I wont talk about that kind of stuff unless you want too. I like to read... preferably non-fiction and my favorite book is (you guessed it) hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. I also am quite fond of music. Always searching for “the soundtrack to my life.” I like most genre's and will give most anything a listen, but my favorites (in no particular order) are: Indie, 90's Alternative, Ska, Jazz, and classic rock. Learning new things and having new experiences is important to me.
Me. I don't really like romantic comedies, but, one of my favorite movies is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mine... which is a romantic comedy. I am fluent in sarcasm and a student of irony. I really like Sci-fi. I am very loyal and value my friendships very highly. I would say if I had to pin one thing down that was really important to me, it would be to enjoy life and have fun no matter what. The boring stuff. I work as a CAD draftsmen and surveyor for a “hydro-graphic survey company.” I have an associates degree in engineering graphics and I am 1 semester (3 classes) away from a bachelor degree in Business. Blah blah blah.
So, I think dating is a bit like an adventure, its exciting and comes with and uncertain outcome, however,regardless of the outcome, it is my intent that we have a good time. So, If you like having fun, trying new things, and having a good time; I would like to buy you your next cup of coffee.
