I went to school in LA (go Bruins!) but have spent the years since working at a series of start-ups in the Bay Area... I've been through an acquisition, a bust, and a few in between. I like a steep learning curve and I like helping to build things.
I keep in close touch with friends from high school, college and my time abroad. This also means that I like to travel a LOT. My regular rotation includes Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas.
I have a goal to visit at least two new countries each year - I just got back from Portugal in October. I like to travel with friends but I'm not afraid to adventure alone - in Lisbon, I spent a lot of time with Spanish tourists and brushing up on my Spanish. I'm hoping to go somewhere in Southeast Asia next.
I've lived in Warsaw, Moscow, Chicago, Tokyo, London, and a few other places, but I'm happy to say, I'm home. I love the Bay Area.
Other facts about me:
- I have a horrible sense of direction (if not for my GPS and iPhone, I'd be in the ocean by now)
- I enjoy photography (but could invest in some classes and a better camera)
- I'm vegan (but I don't expect you to be)
Thanks for reading, and if you think we have some things in common, please send me a note.
